Christchurch BULLDOGS Australian Football Club
The youngest club in CAFL is the Christchurch Bulldogs founded in 2006 by Langridge and Keating, but has been one of the most successful. Winning their first flag within 4 years, the Doggies went back-to-back in 2009 (undefeated) and 2010, Runners-Up in 2011-12, Premiers again 2013, Runners-Up 2014-15, Back-to-back Premiers 2016-17 (undefeated), with their last flag in 2019.
The well organised club didn’t miss finals from 2009 to 2019 and have held the Terry Anderson Shield every year except 2020, which is played for against the Cougars on an annual basis. They were once more Grand Finalists in 2023 and will be looking to go one better in season ’24.
